Saleen Mustangs for sale

Over the Ford Mustang's long history several limited editions have helped keep the spirit alive and give owners another level of customization. One of the most popular for late models is the Saleen.

These started as factory Mustangs that Steve Saleen massaged into his namesake. The first Saleen Mustangs for sale featured only suspension upgrades and a body kit with graphics to help look the part. Then in 1989 Saleen offered the SSC (Saleen Super Car) with engine upgrades for a claimed 30% power increase. In addition the creature comforts in the cockpit included custom leather seats and hot stereo system.

Other Saleen packages include the S281 based on the 4.6 liter engine package and the hot S351 with optional supercharged 5.7 liter V8 under the hood.
